  You can wear underwear with a bodysuit, but you don't have to. According to Lopes, it's about a 50/50 split in terms of wearing panties or "going commando" (if you can call it that) in a bodysuit—at least in her office. The panty portion of most bodysuits features a cotton gusset to provide breathability in the crotch area (like regular underwear), but some may not offer the amount of coverage you want. It really comes down to comfort and personal preference.
