I Logged 15,000+ Steps Daily in These Comfy Walking Sneakers on an Italy Trip — and Didn't Get Any Blisters (2024)

I firmly believe that when it comes to shoes, the limit does not exist. From slippers and sandals to boots and sneakers, my closet is filled to the brim — much to my husband’s dismay. But, in my years-long search for the perfect, travel-friendly sneakers that combine comfort, style, and versatility, only one pair has passed the test: the Kizik Prague Slip-On Shoes. My only regret? Not buying them sooner.

As a shopping and travel writer, it is quite literally my job to research and find the best products on the market to take on trips. For the same reason, the shoes are especially great for elderly folks or those with mobility issues. I even convinced my 86-year-old grandmother to buy a pair, and she, too, has given them her stamp of approval.

I also love the Kizik slip-on sneakers’ sleek and lightweight canvas construction, which offers breathability even in scorching hot temps. Trekking through Rome in the middle of a heat wave is no fun, but I’m glad that my feet weren’t dripping sweat. Meanwhile, the genuine suede leather accents added a fashion-forward flair to the classic-looking shoes, helping them put the finishing touch on all of my vacation outfits, whether they were dresses, T-shirts and jeans, and so on.
