I can never get anyone onthe damn phone. The voicemail says they are assisting other callers, but let’s bereal. They’renot. They have the phone off the hook, orno one isin the office, orthey are just inthere conversing while the phones are ringing. you guys need todo better and hire more people totake these calls. Noone has time towait onyou for over anhour topick upthe phones, atthe times they are supposed tobe pickedup. Itmakes you guys look unorganized and unprofessional. Just because you are acommunity college doesn’t mean you can slack off and not care, present yourselves with some level ofefficiency. Imean the amount ofwrong Information I’ve received from these people has been monumental. It’s like noones knows what the hell they are doing orwhat isgoingon. You asthe student have tomake sure you are ontop ofeverything that needs tobe done, what documents you need tosubmit and pay attention and make sure you are checking that all ofyour information iscorrect and inorder. They will not keep track ofit ordo itforyou.– show

2years ago GPC merged withGSU, soany reviews onthis location prior toAugust 2016are referring toa college that isno longer, soit might bebest todisregard those. That being said, Iattended this school through dual-enrollment for the 2016—17school year and itwas fantastic.Yes, Ican understand where some ofthe other reviews are coming from, the actual administrative and admissions offices ofGSU's perimeter college are abit lacking, but you'll find that atmany colleges and universities, ittakes forever for processes tohappen. Even just getting UGA toprocess mytranscript after GSU sent itto them took multiple emails, calls, and months. Soplease don't give this college abad rap just because ithas todeal with long processing times like other colleges. Myadvice islook ontheir website tomake sure their office isopen, and just drive over there. It's much easier toget things done thatway.
As far asthe school itself, itwas definitely acommunity college vibe. Myclasses were filled with other high school students, recent high school grads, and adults from all walks oflife. The professors made their syllabi very flexible for working adults and parents, often making exceptions that you would never see ata “traditional” college. The school buildings are very nice, one ofwhich isbrand new tothe merge, another isa bit older asit was originallyGPC, but ithas been renovated onthe inside. The Alpharetta location has it's own library where you can request books from any GSU campus aswell asmultiple student common areas, with microwaves and vending machines. This location also has amini bookstore ofsorts where you can buy GSU merchandise aswell asbooks and school supplies. GSUPC also has afree tutoring center for students, which Ifound tobe very helpful. I'd highly recommend this school toanyone who wants tofurther their education. Itis fantastic asa stepping stone tothen transfer toanother school, asall ofyour credits are transferable toany other public school inGeorgia per the University System ofGeorgia code. All ofthe professors that teach here are upto GSU standards, and Iloved every lecture.

The worst admissions office, financial aid office, and teachers. They lost mypaperwork 4times, mylicense twice, and then dropped mycourses after anissue financial aid caused. After removing holds from myaccount new ones would take its place, how does anemergency contact become outdated inless than amonth? ITT Tech isless ofa joke than this bottom tier school. Doyourself afavor and goanother route for your education. Preferably one that knows what its doing and has employees and professors that actually care and know what they are doing.– show

Horrible admissions office, horrible financial aid office. Just ahorrible experience trying toapply tothis school and get help from anyone inadministration. Itseems like not asingle person cares about your success after you've applied. Ithas been anextreme struggle totry and get assistance from anyone. This isNOT the school for aworking adult. Ifyou have afull timejob, FORGET about trying toget any help oranything done over the phone. They are very good attaking your money andnot offering help ofanytime. The only time Ihave spoken toanyone that seemed tocare was after Istarted crying. This school isin the business ofmaking money, NOT inthe business ofproducing educated individuals.– show

It would benice tohave nice/friendly employees tohelp new students. All Iseem toget are looks ofcontempt when Iask for help atthe financial aid office.

Not abad school overall. You can't get incontact with anyone via phone. You literally have todrive tothe school and truly hope there issomeone available toanswer your question(s). It's terribly inconvenient.

So Ijust checked mystudent email tocheck myconformation time and date for orientation for new students. Isee that Ihad another email stating that Iwas withdrawn for orientation. I'm toupset. This process has been soupsetting, first problem Ihad with the school was with their admission process. Iturned inall mydocuments and was wondering why Ihad not been admitted. Ifound out itwas due tosomebody not reviewing mytranscript from acollege Ihad previously attended. Mind you theyhad itsince March. Now this! GSU please get ittogether wit GPC this not good look for either school and not fair for new students tohave togo through this when wedo everything onour end tocomplete this process. Iguess Ihave tomake another trip tocampus toget answers since like every other post state's they don't answer the phone atall.– show
