Our Founder
Dr. David Powell
Dr. Powell, a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for over a decade, has proudly served in the US Navy, completing an active duty tour as the Officer-in-Charge of a Shock Trauma Platoon, offering support to a U.S. Marine battalion in southern Afghanistan. A native of the New York/New Jersey region, he has spent a significant portion of his career – nearly 25 years – living and practicing medicine in Atlanta.
While Dr. Powell continues to serve in the ER, his interest has expanded to aiding patients beyond critical circ*mstances. He observed a gap between life-threatening emergencies and routine preventative care. Despite maintaining healthy habits and managing chronic conditions like asthma, hypertension, high cholesterol, or diabetes, many individuals still don’t feel at their best.
Motivated by this observation, Dr. Powell founded Elevate Wellness Clinic to address this issue. His aim is to provide solutions that help patients feel younger, look better, and perform optimally. While he remains dedicated to his role as a frontline provider in the Emergency Room, helping people achieve their health goals in ways traditional medical avenues can’t has become his passion. Esthetician
Brianna Jenkins is our licensed lead esthetician here at Elevate! She graduated from The Elaine Sterling Institute. Brianna is passionate about skincare and helping her patients be confident in their skin. In her free time, she loves to read and go to Pilates.
She values establishing relationships with all her clients. Some of Brianna’s favorite treatments are the HydraFacial and Chemical Peels. We are confident that Brianna will meet all your aesthetic needs.
Taryn Steinbeck
Nurse Practitioner
Taryn Steinbeck is our women’s health nurse practitioner! She graduated from Frontier Nursing University with a master’s in nursing. Taryn worked as a bedside nurse for 7 years, gaining valuable experience and honing her clinical skills. Although her work as a nurse brought her fulfillment, Taryn desired to explore different avenues of patient care. She developed an interest in aesthetic medicine and decided to become an injector.
Taryn is dedicated to enhancing her clients’ natural beauty! She loves to spend time with her family and play soccer in her free time.
