This floral maxi summer dress is an absolute favorite of mine. It has become so popular that it now comes in 9 different colors/patterns! It is seriously the perfect maxi dress for spring and summer. I am going to Mexico in May and I will most definitely be bringing this summer dress with me! I love how gorgeous and flowy it is, it will be so perfect for a dinner on the beach. I will also be bringing this straw hat with me on vacation. I am a huge hat person, so I knew I needed a fun straw hat for the spring and summer. You will see me wearing these summer outfits a lot!

I am obsessed with maxi skirts/dresses in particular because they are so comfortable, breezy, and most of all super stylish.

I recently got this gorgeous floral maxi skirt and crop top set and to say I am obsessed with it is an understatement. I am a huge fan of two-piece sets, but I am not a huge fan of ones that show a lot of skin. This top and skirt is the perfect combo because it shows a little bit of skin, but not to the point where I feel uncomfortable wearing it in public.

I love that this set can be worn separately. I would pair this skirt with a blue tank top and sandals for a more casual look. This outfit can be worn to a date night, out to brunch with friends, to a bridal shower…the list goes on and on. 4. What to Wear With Jeans This Summer

Many women aren’t a huge fan of wearing denim shorts or of showing a lot of leg in the hot summer heat, so I wanted to share this outfit with you that will keep you cool and looking summer-ready while wearing jeans.

I believe the key to looking summery is by the top you wear. I am in love with pairing flirty, flowy tanks with jeans because they allow you to show more skin up top which balances well with the jeans. This Tobi tank is so summery and fun. If you are going to be wearing jeans in the summertime, consider wearing distressed jeans or cropped jeans. Distressed jeans will cool you off more than a regular pair of jeans would because believe it or not the holes in jeans provide a nice little breeze! Cropped jeans will show off a little bit more of your leg/ankle, which will help with feeling a little cooler. Lighter washed denim is also something to keep in mind when shopping for summer denim. After you have picked out your top and jeans, it’s time to think about shoes. I wear my Tory Burch sandals every single day in the summer. They are so comfortable and they are dressier than a pair of flip flops. They also come in lots of different fun colors and patterns. Definitely wear an open toed shoe or sandal in the summer. No one wants their feet to be closed in on a hot day! I also love these sandals for summertime.

5. Weekend Outfit Idea

Here are my favorite weekend outfit ideas that are perfect for any fun plans and activities you have going on. Several of the items I am wearing are under $50 so I wanted to let you in on these amazing deals!

I recently picked up this top at Express and I am in love with it! Anything that is airy, flowy, and comfortable is a must-have in my book! This shirt checks all the boxes for me. PLUS it is under $50! I have owned off-the-shoulder shirts before that are so stinkin’ cute but they are NOT comfortable to wear. I do not like OTS shirts that you cannot move your arms in. It is not practical to wear a shirt that you feel restricted in, and the worst is when you do move your arms and the shirt moves up on your shoulders and doesn’t look cute anymore. Girls, who else knows the feeling?! This shirt doesn’t do that! It stays put and I can move my arms around as I please. This top is the epitome of spring! The color, fabric, and fit of it are perfect for any and every warm spring day. I love pairing this top with dark denim, but it would also look adorable with white jeans and nude heels or sandals. If you are on the hunt for a comfortable and wearable off the shoulder top, you need this one! I also want to mention my earrings because they are only $12 and they are my favorite inexpensive gold hoops! I love the size of these earrings and although they are pretty big, they are super lightweight! I do not like wearing heavy earrings and these feel like I’m not even wearing anything on my ears. I have a few backup pairs of these because they are seriously my favorite hoops and I don’t ever want to be without these. These Nadrihoops are currently sitting in my shopping cart. I am obsessed with the little turquoise jewels on them!

My favorite part of this outfit is my pink crossbody bag! When I first saw this bag online I thought it was a Chloe bag, and when I found out it was only $26 I was blown away! This is the best Chloe dupe I have ever seen. If you have wanted a Chloe bag but haven’t wanted to drop $2,000 on a purse (I don’t blame you!), you should definitely check thisone out. Wedding season is upon us, so I thought it would be appropriate to do a post on what to wear to a spring wedding! I was a spring bride last year, so everything having to do with weddings is still very fresh in my mind. If you missed it, you can see my wedding blog post here!

There are definitely several do’s and don’ts when it comes to dressing for a wedding, so I wanted to cover all of that information for you today! Follow along with the tips below to find out exactly what you should and should not wear to a spring wedding. Make sure you read all the way to the bottom because I have gathered all of my favorite spring dresses, shoes, and accessories for you to shop!

Wedding Guest Attire: Do’s and Don’ts

DOfind outthe wedding colors.

This tip is so important! You do not want to show up in the same color as the bridesmaids. Imagine being mistaken as one of the girls in the bridal party…don’t let that happen to you! Normally you can figure out what the wedding colors are by the invitations or the wedding website. If you really have no idea what the wedding colors are, simply just ask the bride or groom. I can assure you that the bride will be happy that you are asking because it shows that you do not want to interfere with the color scheme on her perfect day. It’s better to be safe than sorry!

DON’T ignore the dress code.

If the dress code says black tie, formal, dressy casual, etc…dress accordingly! There are many resources online that explain what you should wear for each specific dress code. If anything, it’s better to be too dressy than to be underdressed. Whatever you do, don’t be that person who shows up in jeans to a wedding! The bride and groom specifically choose the dress code that they feel is appropriate for their wedding, so make sure you are being respectful of that and dressaccordingly.

DO wear something you are comfortable in.

Weddings are normally several hours long, so make sure you are wearing something you feel comfortable in. If you are buying a new dress for a wedding you are attending, wear it around the house for a while to make sure you feel comfortable in it. You want to be able to stand up, sit down, and be able to dance in whatever you are wearing. If you wear it around the house, you will be able to tell if you need to get any alterations done to the dress. When you try something on in a dressing room for 5 minutes, it may seem like it fits great but you may not be aware of certain fit issues. You would much rather find out ahead of time that the dress needs to be taken in or out, shortened, or whatever else it may need before the day you wear it to the wedding.

DON’T wear white.

Unless the bride specifies she wants her guests in white, do NOT wear white to a wedding!! You do not want to seem like you are trying to overshadow the bride, so avoid wearing white at all costs. I am personally even afraid to wear a dress that has any white in it at all. Stay away from whites, ivories, and creams, and opt for a colorful dress.

DO dress for the season.

If you are attending a spring wedding, incorporate springy colors and fabrics into your outfit. This includes pastels, florals, lace, ruffles, etc. I would avoid wearing black to a spring wedding. Tell your significant other to consider wearing a gray, blue, or tan suit to a spring wedding. Save your dark-colored dresses for fall and winter weddings.

DON’T wear shoes you can’t dance in.

Weddings involve a lot of mingling and dancing, so make sure you are wearing shoes you can stand and dance in all night! There’s nothing worse than wearing heels that you feel so uncomfortable in. If you know the bride and groom are going to offer dancing shoes/ flip flops to all the guests (shout out to every bride that has ever made that decision!!), then you don’t really need to worry about shoe comfort.Most of the time, you should plan on wearing shoes that you can dance in all night long. Don’t be the party pooper that has to leave the wedding early because your feet are killing you!

DO accessorize.

While the dress you wear to the wedding should be your focus, don’t forget to accessorize your look with jewelry and a handbag. If your dress has a high neckline, consider wearing statement earrings and a few bracelets. If your dress is lower cut, wear a necklace and stud earrings. As for a handbag, clutches are more convenient to bring to weddings. They are small and compact yet they fit everything you need: phone, small wallet, lipstick & gloss, and tissues. Clutches also come in handy when you want to save your seat at a table!

Here are some dresses that I love that are all under $100! I don’t like paying too much for dresses because once I wear them a few times, I am ready to wear something new. It’s easy to wear a plain shirt or a pair of jeans over and over again because you can pair them with other things and style them differently, but you can’t really do that with dresses.

I loooove shopping at Revolve, they always inspire me for more stylish outfit ideas! When I spotted this dress I added it to my cart immediately! Not only was I drawn to the summery look of the blue and white stripes, but I also loved the lace-up detail in the front. The vertical stripes and a-line fit are both very flattering! Also, this dress costs $64 which I think is a steal! I loved pairing it with my white hat and white shoes for a fresh and springy look. It would also look super cute with a jean jacket for a more casual summer outfit, or it could be dressed up with a white blazer. No matter how you style your summer outfit, this dress will look adorable!
